There are some products that are essential to flawless makeup application, but you'll never see them listed among must-haves for beginners or products people don't travel without. Today, I'm bringing you a list of the unsung heroes of the beauty world! While these aren't flashy, they can make a huge difference in any makeup look.


1. Clear Mascara

Something simple, like Maybelline's version, does so much. You can use it on your eyelashes, to make them look naturally longer and more well separated, or to set your brows when you don't want to add any extra colour. And if you're in a rush, simply run the clear mascara through your brows in an upwards motion, to naturally fill them out and make them look their best.

2. Undereye primer

While moisturising with an eye cream can help concealer apply with less tugging and creasing, nothing can compare to an undereye primer, which is designed just to brighten and smooth around the eye area. Apply this after you've blended in your face primer, and you're guaranteed a better makeup application. 3. Setting Spray

You can also use this mid-day for a makeup touch-up, or after you've applied powder foundation or setting powder to create a more hydrated, natural look. 4. Neutral/Base Eyeshadows
