The Solution: How to Celebrate Valentine's Day (Beauty Products, Nail Stuff, and More)!

Valentine's Day is finally here! Even though I've always been single on February 14th, I look forward to it every year. It's the only holiday that celebrates pink, my absolute favourite colour! But you don't have to be obsessed with Valentine's Day in order to enjoy it. In this special festive post, I'll be showing you fun ways to incorporate the holiday into your day, from beauty products to recipes - and more! Whether you're in a relationship or not, why not take today to appreciate everyone and everything that you love? A holiday about being grateful and thankful is definitely a day to celebrate.

It's not all about the beauty products! You can celebrate today by having fun with your normal routine, and that includes bringing these adorable pens to school or work. I bought these just for Valentine's Day because the colours were so pretty and festive.

Go for a manicure! Getting your nails done is such a great way to pamper yourself, especially when you make it a trip by going with friends. I got gel nails in pretty, feminine patterns that reminded me of my favourite things about Valentine's Day - and I topped it all off with a romantic rose design for a statement nail!

Cherry Chip Valentine's Day Cupcakes

Gluten-Free, Vegan Donuts (Mint Chocolate Chip, 

Double Chocolate, and Pink Vanilla Sprinkle)

Get baking! I enlisted the help of my mom to create and decorate some adorable sweets for Valentine's Day. We created some cherry chip cupcakes with red sprinkles and vanilla icing to bring in to her coworkers. And for our family (my mom and I are both vegan) we made some delicious dairy-free donuts! To create these, I simply followed a vegan pancake recipe, and then added vegan chocolate and mint flavour (for mint chocolate chip), vegan hot chocolate mix, vegan chocolate, and french vanilla coffee (for double chocolate) and Wilton icing colour concentrate in Rose and vanilla flavour (for the pink sprinkle ones). Then I popped them in our donut maker and within a few minutes, we had a Valentine's Day worthy dessert!
